Dr Eric Huy Nguyen. Dr Eric Nguyen is a consultant anaesthetist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, specialising in regional anaesthesia and complex airway management. He is an established educator, and co-directs Oxford Sonoclub, with a passion to increase patient access to regional anaesthesia techniques.

With a background spanning clinical practice, education, and leadership, she is committed to advancing innovation and training in anaesthesia. A Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Higher Education Academy, Joanna leads regional anaesthesia education at OUH and co-directs Oxford Sonoclub. She has received multiple awards, including the University of Oxford Vice-Chancellor’s Education Award and Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence.

Dr Libby Yates​, Consultant Anaesthetist Buckinghamshire NHS Trust. Dr Libby Yates is a Consultant Anaesthetist with specialist interests in regional anaesthesia, paediatric anaesthesia, and airway management. She serves as Course Director for Oxford Sonoclub, delivering advanced regional anaesthesia education across the Thames Valley and nationally. Dr Yates has completed fellowships in regional anaesthesia and paediatric critical care and transfer, and is actively involved in teaching, quality improvement, and research to advance excellence in regional anaesthetic practice.
